Hi guys ... decided to make a shift today ... from Blogger to Wordpress ... dunno why but decided that probably a change for a new beginning (well as in blogging ...) or probably I am just too bored today and decided to do something .... haha .. well ... my current blog will still remains .. at www.yvememoirs.blogspot.com but i guess going forward i will be updating more on this new blog ... www.yvememoirs.wordpress.com ... ya ... hope you guys like it ...

Month of the Shopaholic Part 2

Yesh ... I'm finally more calm down .. okie ... let's start from Tuesday ... which is I went to watch Bolt (3D version) ... tix brought by my bf ... and the movie was at Suntec City ...

The show was really nice ... even thou I've been teasing my bf that it might be boring becos of its title "Bolt" (sounded liked bored haha) but its really a very funny ... cute show ..with cute dog ... cute cat and a damn stupid but cute hamster ... haha ...highly recommended to catch it ... quite meaningful as well ... at least for me ..towards the ending I felt touched... makes me conclude the movie with "Love your Pet ... Dun anyhow abandon it..."

Then Wednesday, the day i spent ALL of $$$ ... .haixxx .... *Yve singing ... 我的心好痛...*

Early in the morning .. went down to the govt sector ... see the officer ... sign the agreement .. told us how much we gotta pay which will be deducted automatically ... den we have to wait for another call in around 4 years' time to pay the remaining amount ... and that "thing" will be officially ours for 99 years ... cool rite ... the most expensive stuffs that I got for myself ...

Den as we end our meeting at the govt sector early .. we had breakfast @ MacDonald's and decided to go back home to catch some more sleep ... until I woke up and saw Jas's missed call and sms ... Taka having sales ... additional 10% for card holder until 5 Dec .... and so ... off we went to takashimaya ... as i have been wanting to get Paul & Joe's moisturing Primer .... and i did get it for 53 bucks ... damn cos i no taka card ... *sobs*

Before that I actually spent an hr or so in the branded "G" shop ... yesh yesh .. the so famous brand - Gucci ... think for a very long time before deciding to swipe my card on that "gold" bag that I brought for myself ... as it was the most expensive bag that I've gotten myself for my current 24 years of life ... I decided ... in order not to feel too guilty ... i will also buy something for mum ...

In the end ...... went into the L branded shop .. and come out with a big big hole in my pocket ... actually i will only "SEES" the hole when the credit card bill comes this month ... haixxx....

So practically this month I have been spending spending and more spending .. just on monday .. i order from Tian Fen Lan two bags ...

Quite like both the bags ... and their designs seems simple but yet nice .. and the price seems reasonable too .. anyway will let u see a pic when i got the bags this week .. *hopefully*

As for the new Gucci bag .. haha ... we'll see when I will use it den ... =P

ok .. so now its save save and save .... cannot have anymore big spending liao ... *sobs*

Luckily I've already got the gals their Xmas pressie haha!!

oh ya ..so fast ... Xmas coming ... no plans for me and boy ... probably spend it at home bahz ... we're just so not the party type ..

Gosh ... today I've spent a bomb .... REALLY is a BOMB .... *faintx* first in my life .... that i actually spent so much .... wait till I've really really calm down ... I'll blog more .. in the meantime ... i tink i'm having headache ... shld be lack to slp .. woke up too early this morning ... just to go down to ??? place to settle some agreement .... well at least its settled and tat "thing" will be the most expensive gift that I paid for .... *shrug*

First of all .. I'm still happily and blessfully in my relationship ... haix.. must always clarify whenever I had 灵感 on writing my chinese "rubbish" ..well cos they are always full of sadness ... rather then my happiness ... dun ask me why ... probably I am a very pessimistic person .. that why it flows much more easily when it comes to writing sad chinese poems ... which doesn't seems to rhythm .. hahah ...

A weekend updates

Hi guys ... its been quite some time since I update about my life... yesh .. I'm a lazy bug ... and so here I am updating lo~~ It has been a whole week of clearing work and stuffs... not hectic .. but at least it's keeping me busy ... been trying to write my minutes and only managed to clear one set ... pathetic i know ... knowing that I've still got 2 more sets to clear and its been two weeks since the meetings had passed ... it ain't my fault ... the first week I was down with illness and trying hard to concentrate on my exam ...

Anyway will try to clear the other two asap lo~~ wat else ...

Friday went to vivo and did some shopping ... got a shirt from island shop @ Tangs ...costs me 93 bucks ... but i simply loved it .. initially was looking at a similar dress ... but if i buy both it will cost me a bomb and I knew that I'll wear the shirt most of the times... ha! And Xmas decors for Vivo are up ... probably alot of ppl went there so the management decided to decorate the mall early ... I haven't been downtown ..so I'm not sure whether the decors for Orchard Road are they up or not ...

Den as we were walking to the bus interchange @ harbourfront .. we saw this nice looking and tall Xmas Tree standing far ahead .. .. in front of us .. in white color some more ... i tink its standing @ Mount Fabar .. or some where near .... gosh .. its so nice looking and sparkles in the night .... Just hope that we had our cammie in hand ... HP just din manage to capture the tree as nicely ... during the night ... wasted ... but it sure leaves a wonderful memory in my head ...

Saturday ... it was meant to be a slacking day for me ... am pratically being a pig for the whole day until my bf really cannot stand it and put me out for dinner ...plus catching a movie, Four Christmases ...

Dinner was pretty great ... a new Japanese cafe at Jurong Point called Benente Cafe by Bishamon (not sure if i spell the cafe's name correctly) ... tried the Pork Cutlet Curry Rice and my bf tried the Teriyaki Chicken Baked Rice ... not bad ... except the cheese for the baked rice was abit too much for my boy ...we even had dessert ... nice!!

Was reading the news just now ...and saw that the only Sporean hostage in the Mumbai attack had been killed ... its was a shocking news to me ... (althou abit late ... the news was like a day old ago ... and den now then i saw it ..) It actually nevers occurs to me that the hostage would be killed ... a Singaporean ... probably I had read news before (not sporean being held hostage) that was good ... at least the hostage was being freed alive .... BUT this time round it was so different ... Singaporean ...

It was a terrible lost ... so young ...@ 28 married just last year .... so promising ... a lawyer ... was it because we living in such a "safe" and "well-protected" country that our government had all along portraited to us which led us to think that we will be safe even at other countries ?? But I tot we do still read news of murders, theft in the newspaper ...so actually Singapore ain't really that safe at all .... Had we been too naive ? Too trusting that our govt might be able to protect us when some thing happens? are we too lack of self-protection or self-awareness to terriorism?

Or was it just fate that God make each of us go through wat he felt we had to ?

How could we prevent such act to happens again? It seems somewhat difficult ... not knowing why this group of ppl in Mumbai or any part of the world who acts in such horrible ways ... are thinking .... I always felt why are these people always going to the extreme? Killing or doing stuffs that injure / hurt the innocent just to claim what they had been taught was right ... how right can killing be just to show your teachings to the rest of the world?

Probably i can never understand ... all we can do is to be more aware of the surroundings and people around us from now on ... take precaution ... be safe than sorry people...

From the thriller .. its seems to be full of action ..and i tink there's a little bit of scenes for laughter ... looking forward to it .. =D

Cough Bug Attack!!!

Yesh Yesh Yesh .... finally finished my exam .. ya ya I know only one paper so happy for wat ... but at least it was finished ... now if the waiting part .... waiting for the result... this time round .. i'm not as confident as the last semester ... why cos you'll never know how the marker marks your paper ... although 3.5 out of 5 questions i think i should be able to get the marks ...BUT ... you'll never know whether its a pass or not until the results are out ... so here am I have to wait patiently ..

And my previous blog post mentioned that I am down with fever rite .. ya it was gone after popping the yellow fever pills last friday and saturday ... BUT I am still coughing ... dunno why the cough bug seems to like me alot this week ... even thou I've finished one bottle of cough syrup (those black color kind) I am still coughing ... althou no longer got the phelgm but its dry coughing ... throat irritation ... very very bad ... haix ... dunno when can the cough bug leave me along ...

I've got alot of stuffs need to do lehz ... like writing my minutes for the last 6 meetings that i've attended ... alot of registration and incorporation waiting for me back in office .... OH GOD!!!

Anyway ... I'm going to bed ... praying that the cough bug might just disappear over the night ... please let it go away ...

If you ask me i'll rather catch the flu bug den the cough bug ... i just need alot of tissues for the flu bug ... anyway good nitex..

Back Home with some Pressie ...

Hi Guys I'm back from my business trip from HK and Xiamen ... and guess what ... not only I brought some pressies for my self ... i also brought back FEVER .... haiz... before I landed in SG i already knew that I am not feeling well ... and once I'm home ... i straight away took my temperature ... a good 38.7 degree .... too tired and just fell into my wonderful bed and had a nap ... (thats why now so awake .. haha)

Din have any dinner and mom cooked me porriage ...popped the fever pills last got from docs .... now better le ... at least i'm sweating abit ... and no longer feeling feverish ... but still coughing and have a bit sore throat ... haha ... so good pressie rite ... I tink it's becos the flu jab that I took one year ago is up and no longer effective liao lo ...

Anyway HK was cold .. and Xiamen was hot .. might also be one of the factor lahz...

Oh ya ... i also brought myself a pair of boots... its not made of leather .. not very high ... but i simply loved it ... =)

okie ... that's all for now .. tml onward will be studying and wont be back until exam's finished .... all the best to all who are taking exams too!!! Ganbate ne !!

Flying off again ...

Hi Guys .. just to let u know that i will be flying off AGAIN ... for work tomolo .. and won't be back to SG until Friday ....arghhhhhh ...sianz... cos this time its for work and not play ... will be having 6 sets of minutes to write when I finished my exam ... and more sianz is that ... 4 days after i'm back from my trip ... i will be having my CG exam ...

and frankly i dun think i'm well prepared ... haix... i only merely want a pass ... is that so difficult ... (Angel Yve telling Yve ... nope its not... u'll pass if u remb all the things...Devil Yve smirking ... HA! she haven't even start to re-memorise the notes... sure cannot make it de lahx)

Ya idotic Yve talking to herself again ...

anyway ... sure a tiring trip ... just hope everything (including my exam) will be smooth and successful ...

Today went to the "S" telecom shop to buy a new hp for my Dad .. actually is upgrade his plan and get a free new hp, the LG Viewty .... not bad lah ... BUT ... bcos we had made a reservation ytd nite (they were out of stock) ... and went down to the telecom shop .. they told us they were unable to provide me the stock today ... wat the heck right ... they last night din even tell me that i won't be able to get my hp the next day lor ... its like his reply was we will call u went we get the stock and GOD knows when they will restock ... duhx... and they actually quote me a period of 2 WEEKS!!!

SIAO ahh ... think I am Ms 闲闲美代子 just wait for them to call me anytime mehz... anyway lucky brother was there to help out the the situation ..(which was we created a small commotion lahx) and lucky .. the other counter staff manage to patch other stocks from their other branch and manage to get the hp today ... haiz... it was troublesome lahx... hated this kinda stuffs..

okie ..ending here .. have to slp early ... morning flight tomolo ... (have to go 2 and a half hr early cos got special security check...duhxxx)

Hello my dear friends, I'm finally back from my Taiwan trip .... it was tiring ..and super fulfilling .... a great trip ... makes me consider choosing a tour the next time (to another country of cos) as compared to F&E ...

Anyway ... was trying to clear my office email when the stupid network "hang" on me ... so in the end went around checking out other ppl blogs and facebook ... while waiting for my photos to be loaded into my computer .... den i realize we actually took over 800++ of photos for the past 6 days .... wow!! ain't we incredible ... so as u guys can see ... 800++ of photos ... waiting slowly while i upload a small portion over here and facebook bahz... hahaha ...

ok .. anyway ... just to let u guys know that I am backu!!! =D

Was initially feeling not bad ... cos its Wednesday and 9 more days I will be flying off to Taiwan with my bf for holidays... ain't that a good feeling.... but an instinct just tell me that "something" might happened today ... and true enough...

I am affected by the email that my client responded to me relating to the documents that I sent to him last night.... that particular job was deemed to be an ad hoc matter and so ... when I am quoting him our fees ... knowing instinctively that he is somehow a "particular" person in term of monetary ... of cos ... I charged him slightly higher than normal ...even thou its like deep down i knew that I would received emails from him regarding our high charges and not keeping him informed that we will be charging him beforehand...

BUT i am still slightly affected ....

Its that kinda feeling that when you did something important for another person and that person not only complain you didn't did well enough to meet his expectation and he did not even show a bit of appreciation for the things that you did it for him at such a short notice ... somehow ... it makes you felt that you're being taken for granted ...

Even thou I know that my client did not take me for granted .. but his email (probably his english very powerful...so those words that he used somehow seems abit hurting) somehow seems abit hush...anyway conclusion is that I'm affected and somehow ruin my Wednesday ... nevertheless, I will be fine ... its not the first time that I've encounter such things... I know I'll grow strong in handling this kinda situation ...

Every situation that I encounter in my life... I believe will make myself a better person... =)

Recently has been reading up frenz's blogs... and hearing / unseemingly knowing broken hearted news from everywhere ... mostly seems to be relating to heart matters.... and so ... got abit 感触 and wrote the following ... incompleted thou ... cos the feelings of writing in chinese ...comes and goes... so half way i'm lost for words... haha...=P

Heartpain!!!

Hasn't been updating for some time.. cos was pretty lazy haha ... ok ok .. brief update .. cos its not the main thing in this post to update about past event ...

Last Tue ... eve of Hari Raya Puasa ... went to stay overnight @ Jas's house in Sengkang.... first time overnight @ fren's house ... erm... ok la .. nothing much to do .. cos din bring vcd to watch.... go compasspoint also din manage to buy any vcds ... so in the end ... chit chat ... she read novel .. i played my nds ... (she was complaining that my self-mumbling was getting worse...erm true la...ar bo the whole house abit quiet...=D) anyway althou it was boring but ok lahz... at least it has been a long time since we last chit chat for so long ~~ The next morning she brought me to Jalan Kayu to eat prata ... erm ya ... as a mountain turtle for a period of time.. i finally step foot @ Jalan Kayu and had a taste of the "famous" roti prata ... find it so-so nia lehz.. but the price is ridiculous ... S$4 for a tissue prata ... -_- but anyway Jalan Kayu is pretty near to Jas's house... soOoo if there's a chance... we might go again .. and have the expensive but so-so prata ...

Last Thurday ... a day after Hari Raya ... met up with my sec school mates, Aloy and Ting Ting (plus Ting's bf ..name..i forgot... ya ya Yve's ALWAYS forget mahx =X ) anyway we arrange to meet at Vivo for dinner and nice Aloy picked me up after work and drove us there ... the usual topics circulate among the two of us ... and one thing was he asked hw issit possible that I can read him like an opened book ... yup ... a very Chim question ... worse is ... a blur person ...and sometimes "brainless" Yve can actually read aloysius yeo like an opened book ... weird right ... how would I know wor!!! dotx... probably cos we've been close frenz like erm...one..two ...6 to 7 years ... and he usually tells me about his problems... *shrug* anyway i felt that one or two of your closest frenz will be able to read you like an opened book de lahz... knows wat you are thinking even thou you haven even opened your mouth ... straight from your expression can tell tat kinda things... (cos it ALWAYS happened to me...ya know .. my bf and tat Jas read me like a book...SOMETIMES .. even tat faraway Ms Huang ALSO can read me like an opened book GOSH!!! I'm transparent issit...=X)

Anyway i drifted too far ... we went to this Japanese charcoal grill restaurant and eat ... set meal for 4 ..guess how much we spent?? 200++ for 4 ppl ... *almost faint* din know we eat until soOO damn expensive .. but the meats was really top quality lahz... (mostly beef so .. my bf and Jas can save on going to that restaurant liaoZ) ... the most expensive dinner... tat last time had chilli crab also din spend so much ... broked!

Main topic for today's post .... i received an msn message from my dear Jas that her hub's supervisor lost 11K from investment with that P company ...due to the market crisis recently ... and it hit me hard that i FORGOT i also got investment with that damn P company... and there I was just a few days thinking that the market downturn had no damn business with me and my life ... and NOW... a total damage of around 8K loss (or probably more) for me .... haix... and more haix....

The knowledge of lossing such a big sum of money (even thou its not hard cash...) still breaks my heart ... and the pain is slow.... (cos my heart reacts slowly mahx .. I'm a slow person...the market crash so long liao den I remb i got investment...) Guess I'm just not suitable for investment ... cos i will tend to forget i actually did invest in stuffs... althou my supposingly NEW financial advisor from P company.. was suppose to let me know ...and suppose to manage my funds... but dunno why they din seems to update me anything on my investments ..pretty weird hor.. they are like suppose to reassure me or something that my investments are either secured or not mahzx... no words from them .. i even have to sms my previous advisor to ask him to help me check it out ... *sighed heavily* dunno what the P company's agent are doing ..probably they are busy salvaging their own investment ...who knows... haiz.. all i say that wat done cannot be undone ... i'll just have to treat it that I've lost all my investment that's it le lor~~~

Yup finished complaining ... but heart still abit pain .. guess this week have to tighten up my purse and spending liao (furthermore going to taiwan this end of the month....)

Recently found a new application on Facebook called Pet Society ... in which you can create a pet for yourself at the start of the game... and subsequently you have to bath it, feed it, play with it and buy things for it ... and now i'm gradually addicted to it... cos i find my pet really very cute... it makes cute little purring sound when you sayang it ... very very cute~~ keke ... Oh ya .. forgot to let you know... my cute pet is called Q Q Bi.... cute rite... can't imagine i can actually come out with such a name... ^_^

If you have facebook and got this application can come make frenz with my pet... =) thou i dunno how to lahz...

They're hurt ...

Yesterday was a Saturday without my bf's loving breakfast ... he was busy with other stuffs and was unable to meet me ... well ok lahz... went around doing my own things.... like went to trim my hair ... it was too heavy .... and now i felt lighter ...

Cleared one of my drawers... it was covered with letters.... and i threw away quite alot of waste papers yesterday afternoon....Den went to my grandma's house ... It has been a while since I last went to my grandma's hse ... well all of us has outgrown the age of going to grandma's hse to meet up and gather i tink ... those cousins of mine ... they have their own personal lifes now ... only the youngers one ... whose parents still meet up at my grandma's hse will bring them along ...

But not today .. it was pretty quiet around there... only my mum, my fifth auntie and my sixth auntie was there playing mahjong with my grandma .... the youngest of my cousin, Benjamin, who is only 8 months old was asleep when i reach there ...

And he was the main objective that i went there actually .. haha ... waited until he woke up ... man he has also grown alot ... babies do change very fast ... in size ... in facial ... in character ... the once small chubby baby is already a big boy with loud noise and very active .... its tough carrying him around .... and there's a consequence for doing that .... which is i tink i injured my hands muscles... yesh... you see those words correctly.... BOTH hands' muscles are currently pulled.... and the pain is "killing" me ...

That boy is really very active ... keep wanting people to carry him .. walk here walk there exploring ... and he was also very strong ... also had a tough time trying to keep him still .... but he's cute lah ... with big big eyes ...

But seeing him and my Jiu mu ... a thot sudden pops into my head.... will I be as committed to a child as does my parents do to me ... feeding him .... looking after him .... cleaning him..... worrying for him .... its just a big commitment .... would i be able to be a good mum? Gosh ... was having my lunch just now... brought Chicken Rice from downstairs coffeeshop ... and i remembered clearly that i spoke quite loudly that i wanted an additional egg to goes with my packet rice.... and tat auntie even CHARGED me for that egg ...

BUT as i reach office...sat down in front of my desk about to start eating... suddenly i felt that how come my rice like so little... like missing something ...

Guess what ... tat "cook" FORGOT to put my egg in .... and i wasted 50 cents ...damn it ... cheat my money.... not going there to buy anymore...

今年的中秋并没有多特别，没有特别去买月饼，柚子没有提灯笼。可能应为随着年龄的增长，所以对于庆中秋这种特别的节日的意义已经逐渐的淡忘了吧。

也可能应为我的家人都在身边，所以并没有那种需要一家团圆的感觉。。。有点身在福中不知福吧

所然如此, 但是我还是会警记在心

Game Review - Imagine Teacher

Yesh, game review time.. recently had a new game for my nds ... which is Imagine Teacher... yesh .. finally i can fulfil my wish of being a teacher .... this game was pretty addictive for me actually .... being a teacher (and ONLY teacher) in the game, you had to plan the timetable (wat class on wat day) .... pass the test set by the School Committee ... meetings with the school committee on how well the school is doing ... meeting with the Parent Committee on their child's education ... giving the student's evening class revision ... cleaning the classroom .... etc etc ...

Basically I'm just a Teacher cum Principal cum cleaner cum Event Organiser person ... ya ... one person with a whole lotsa roles .... pretty fun ...

Me and my bf went to this restaurant called Rocky's Pizza @ Sunset way .... initially we wanted to try another restaurant de ... but dunno why they dun open on Monday.... *shrug*

Appertizer .... garlic bread ....

Side dish - chicken wings... a little bit spicy..

Main dish - Pizza of cos... with 5 different toppings.... got sausage...chicken...mushroom...the rest i forgot hahaha *paiseh*

It was a quite a sumptuous feast ... we can't even finish it all .... had to pack the unfinish back home... it was too much for just two persons... =D

Den ...met up with aloysius (sec sch's frenz) for dinner ... he's the only one who can makes me leaves office on the dot... (6 pm jus have to quickly rush downstairs) ... y he's so special lehz..? my best bud and my dear bf also din manage to .... cos he's driving mahz.. and he always so early reach my office downstairs .. making matter worse was he stop his car in front of my office building which is the MAIN road .... ya ... at 5, 6 pm ... cars fetching ppl off work .. THAT road can be really pack ..and who knows whether tat white uniform riding a white motorbike person will happily appear and present him a ticket or not ...

So bo pian lo .. he's the only ONE lo~~~ (okie...Off topic) anyway we went to Vivo and had Marche ... finally i tried other stuffs beside Rosti and Calamaris ...(ya i always eat those when i go marche...-_- ) tried the salad ... nice!!! mushrooms too!!! fruit juicess..... (gosh all healthy food ... dunno why recent i've been looking for leafy veges to eat ... hmph..)

As usual ... we had long chats about the past, the present and the futures ... (future of cos is when getting married and when buy flats la .. wat else... when u reach this age ... seeing all your frenz planning on getting married somehow or rather ... u just felt that its time to plan .... haix.. very fast hor .... it was still like yesterday that I was in my sec sch uniform ... reading my fav chn novels while my chn teacher was teaching in front of me ... how times flies...)

And guess wat he got me ... Moon cakes for my bday.... ya i know abit DOT DOT ... but ok la ... the mooncake i tried one early .. it was not bad ... at least better than those i "brought" from China...

Was suppose to meet up with the gals (i.e. Jas and Yilin) but ... dunno why these few days have been super busy especially after past lunch ... my whole afternoon will be super packed with work ... work and more work ... damn ... and it was the same for Friday ... in the end of cos I was late lahz... but not as bad as Yilin ... she practically "put us aeroplane" of cos we understand la...her work mahz... so bo pian la ... only me and ah Jas lo ...

We went to MOF @ bugis (queue was super long~~ but worth the wait) ... my first time trying MOF ... ok la ..the food was not bad ... thou i tink the main course was abit small in portion... but in the end when the dessert comes... i knew why .... if you order set meal with desserts .. yup it will be alrite ... the dessert comes in slightly big portion... so Meal + dessert = Full ...

After dinner ... we have last minute urge of wanting to sing ktv ...so of cos just go ahead lahz...went down to Outram's partyworld ... and sing all the way till 1 am ...its was tiring ...

今天并没有一定的主题，往往都是用中文来表达内心的感觉这次也不例外。

对感情，常告诉人要拿得起，放得下

但说容易，做起来也是需要足够的勇气。谈何容易呢！

对于这句话，我也有尝试过，放不下过。随着时间的流失，慢慢体会到自己的愚蠢，浪费的青春，眼泪和其他更好的感情。

又或许人们说的对，时间可以冲谈遗留下来的伤痕不管是多久伤痕迟早都会消失的。哪怕需要十年，二十年的时间呢。

伤痕不再了剩下来的也只有那淡淡的回忆。

Hi guys ... actually I had alot of stuffs to blog about .... like the recent movies I had .. the Xiamen trip i went ... etc etc but probably its too many things in my mind that i actually dunno where to start .... hmm

Ok lets go by headings den ..

Xiamen Trip

Its a 1D1N trip .. flown back the next afternoon after the meeting ... but still it was not a easy trip ... travel via Silkair took the first flight (actually i tink there's only one flight from SG to Xiamen hahaha) out from SG .... and reach Xiamen around 1 plus ... met up with my client who came and fetch me .... the journey to the venue was around 30 minutes... had lunch with my client while watching Olympic ...

Den it was meeting ... a fast meeting ... actually the director seems occupied with other stuffs .... dunno whether they were listening or not (at least the IDs were lah) so i tink even thou the EDs got something to update ... due to other stuffs ... the meeting ended without the "update" lo~

Den we were being drove back to our hotel for a washup ... not for me was busy checking emails... (the thing i hate when I'm away ... my office mailbox CONFIRMED kena flood) thereafter met the Dtors for Dinner ..... drank whiskey (J.W. Blue Label) .....den was after-dinner entertainment with the directors..... KTV ... well ... my and my new found frenz - Joyce (if i remb correctly) sat at one corner listening to somes ...and avoiding the directors...otherwise they will ask us to drink again ...

This time round the after-dinner entertainment lasted longer ... only manage to leave the place at around 2 plus ..reach hotel...bath and everything already slightly past 3 am .... gosh!

I had to wake up at 6 something to release announcement and guess wat i woke up at 6.40 am ..found a shock that my news release was not there ....OMG!!!! Called the FC and (lucky i tink he's awake liao or was he not haha) ask him which one's the final copy ... called the PR .. .and found that there was a miscommunication .. but its ok la the new PR officer was new on the job ... and while time was ticking away .. i was nervously refreshing my mailbox to see if the final copy of my news release had been sent by the FC ... and i even remb wrongly on the password for the e-token ..so F**King freak me out .... lucky manage to remb .... Brains dun work well when you had only a couple of hours sleeps ....

Lucky i manage to broadcast everything just under 1 min to 7.30 am .... was a morning to start with tat day .... in the end me and my manager slp thru the flight back to SG ... its a indeed a tiring trip ... (Silkair really not very good ... too cramp ...but no choice!)

Movie Review - Journey to the Center of the Earth

Catched that show on Saturday (yesterday) ... it was totally an amazing show for me .... amazed by the effect and how the director filmed it .... there was a few scene that i'm facinated with ... like the part where Brendan Fraser (the scientist) , Anita Briem (the mountain guide) and Fraser's nephew (i dunno his name) went in search for Fraser's long lost brother - Max in Iceland ..... and reach this mine cave and sat at the cart .... its like you're in a threatre for rollercoster .... totally loved it .... den there was the scary part where the nephew met a dinosaur ... gosh althou i've known of that part from the thriller ... but it still scared the shit outta me .... there were also funny parts in the show ... and so ... its a recommendation from me to those who had not catch it ...

Theatrial Triller:

12 Lotus Concert @ Max Pavilion

Went to the Concert of 12 Lotus on 2 Aug ... with my bf ... erm alot of ppl .. and since we got our tix "free" so we decided to go and see see look look .... tot it might be some preview of the show or something in the end its a getai .... *faint* singing songs from 881 until 12 Lotus ... but we did not stay until it finish lahz... cos the sound systems was too loud and i cannot take it ... or my heart cannot take it .... mostly the songs sang was in hokkien ... the only part was this little gal ... sang hokkien song ... does not sound like her age .... but very nicely sang.... well all i can say is she got talent ...

Ok that's all folks... i tink i did not miss out anything .... =) till next blog post then ... =D

New Comic - Faster than a Kiss 新娘16岁

Recent just brought a new comic ... and it just started so i guess have to slowly wait and collect again ... and my 野蛮王妃 haven even finish yet and here i'm starting on a new one ... bo pian too boring with no drama to watch (beside 命中) and no novels to read (erm cos haven received the new novels still in post office hahahaha ... )

anyway the new comic was called Faster than a Kiss 新娘16 岁 plot seems familiar but i can't remember have i read it somewhere .... hmmm or was there an old Japanese drama on it .... hmm ..anyway its pretty nice lahz... those girly girly one lor .... dunno why 金田一 no new series ...

Movie Review - The Mummy 3 and some daily life..

Hi hi today's blog post is about the recent movie - The Mummy 3 that I've watched last weekend ...

Overall its not as bad as the critics rated ... but of cos the plot is no longer as good as the previous two .. probably its becos the previous two was slightly linked and this one was totally new .... and a slight change in the casting as well ... the cute little boy in the Mummy 2 is now a man ... and the wife ..changed to another actress ..(well i forgot her name) ... overall the effect ... is still good but it does not let me had that Hollywood style feel ... it makes me feel more like those movie filmed by the HK directors.... like the movie Mo Gong ... or some other war movies by the HK directors if u know what i mean ..especially the scene where Jet Li fought Michelle Yeoh ... got a slight moment i felt that I'm watching a chinese movie instead of a Hollywood one .. hahaha

But overall ok lahz... still quite alot of ppl watch.... the interesting part is not any part in the movie .... but the start where it usually shows some short clips asking ppl to switch off their hps.... this clip makes me laugh ...

Anyway ... nothing much in my life ..since i just blogged not long ago saying that I'll be away this week for meetings in Shanghai ... flying off tomorrow morning .. lucky its not in the early morning like 8 am flight ... changed it to a 10 am one .. initially thot that i wont need to wake up early ..BUT ..still have to cos wanted to get away from the jams.... haix... rather go early and do nothing than stuck in the jam and be late for my flight... right ...

Oh ya ... haha I finished watching my Ming Zhong Epi 21 in office today (during lunch time of cos ... u think i slacking mehz) as most of my colleauges today lunch in ..so pratically i almost die trying to stop myself from laughing out loud .... totally loved this episode ... its back to the hilarious way the director filmed the show in the first place.... (thats what attracts me u see) .... finally the two were clear about their feelings for each other ... can't wait for the show to be finished .. (althou i somehow guessed the ending would be the same as the comic ...) anyway ... i also catched abit of Lan Qiu Huo before the copyright issues starts ... seems nice also ... but a waste that youtube won't have it ... pity ... just have to wait to see if SCV will broadcast liao lor...

Ok ...going off to surf net .. play games and do nothing hahaha ... ciaoz my frenz...

PS - I've finally booked my tour to Taiwan yeah yeah ^_^V ... so happy .. althou it sort of burn my purse a very big hole this month ... but still looking forward to it ... its a 7D tour ... covers alot of places that i wanted to go ... so looking forward to October now ... =D

Wat a day today is....

Gosh .. today's a tiring and busy day for me ....

Had an AC and Board Meeting at one of my client's place ... its a tiring meeting pratically listening to wat hedging la .... and all sort of terms and words used in the business world ..and that's a world that I am so unfamiliar with .... gosh ... pratically losing my brain cells trying to understand and catching the main points ....

Lucky my manager decided to spare me and write the minutes herself ... althou she also catch no balls during the meeting hahahah ....

Den after which return to office ... another troublesome client .... trying to incorporate new company but MAA not executed correctly ...and just when I was about to leave office ... i go and answer a phone call .... and at first I was speaking nicely and in my normal volume ... but as the conversation gets heat up ... my volume gets louder ... gosh ... and its a partner that I was on the phone ... althou i dun think my tone was bad ... i tink it was still respectful ... but i tink its frustrating telling her that her ways does not work out and my suggestion she doesn't seems to be taking into it ..... anyway after i hang up the phone (of cos is after finding a solution to the problem) my colleague all say i was very loud and really like quarrelling with a partner.... yes a lawyer .... PARTNER some more lorr ... hahaha anyway i'm glad that we had a solution la .. so probably i forgot about my manner .... anyway i din mean to ... we were both frustrated ...

Hi hi .... my mood's back to normal lez.... anyway think its like a moodswing last week ... haha ...

anyway was back from Jas's house earlier .... went there for our first visit .... their design was really not bad ... modern resort ... so its in brown and abit woody woody .... overall at least the owners like it lor .... and their ID really did a good jobz.... well if i next time get a house probably i can consider using their ID too ... if that ID can give me a design i wanted ... cos i dunno wat I want .. hahahaha ...

Come to time they spent quite a lot ...if add up the reno ... furniture (and they haven even got wat bed frame .... study table and etc etc ...ok they only got a sofa and mj set haha) ....electric appliances .... wahhhh ... like alot lorr.... a few Ks of thousands .... gosh ... like a bomb .... wondering next time how am I suppose to get the $$$ hahaha .... anyway like still quite long ...

Me and my bf planning a trip to taiwan now ... has been emailing with the Nam Ho ppl ... guess we are going to use that travel agency lahz.... haven considered others cos their itinerary doesn't really fit us ... or me in actual fact ... hahaha like wanted to visit alot alot of places at one time ... kiasu ... hopefully can get a better price at the Natas Fair next week ...

Den next month flying again to Shanghai and Xiamen ... its a headache getting the China Visa ... haiz... troublesome lahz.... but lucky its a short trip ... a few days only ... den its minutes writing again ... abit sianz.... actually I've got 2 in the line waiting for me le ... one is an EGM min and another one is a BM .... den this coming week got another 2 mtgs .... 6 aug got 4 mtgs .... 13 aug got 2 mtgs ... so in total ... got erm .... 10 minutes to write .... OMG!!!!!!! *almost faint*

my life in august revolves around Minutes, Minutes and more Minutes ..... -_-

Vietnam Trip - Mekong Delta

Hi guys back for update on Vietnam Trip - Mekong Delta

We woke up early to have breakfast ...and den set off to the agency for our "coach" to Mekong Delta ....

Photo while on the road ..... a very long journey ... took us about 2 hrs to get there .... slpy ride ...

Yesh finally we've reach ... boarded the boat from here .... and this is part of Mekong Delta ... yesh yesh i know the water looks "dirty" but the guide says its becos of the brownish mud mix with sea water thats why Vietnam got this river .... but it was said to be good for agriculture wor... esp for growing rice...

Our guide - Mr "Tam" (hee i dunno how to spell his name...) anyway he kept calling us his group of "27 people" hahaha ....

Nice church ... they got quite alot of churchs in HCM .... this one was situated along the river ...

We spent our 1 day on the boat .... going to rice paper making place.... coconut candy making place..... etc .... had a simple lunch which was included in the package .... reach the agency around 7 pm (vietnam time) ....it was tiring .... have to rush back to hotel put down our things waited for the rest and rest down to this restaurant to meet Kit's vietnam frenz.... the food at that restuarant was good ... but i forgot the restuarant name ... too tired ... Cammie's batt run out ... so no more pixs ...

Third and last day was the day to do last minute shopping ... actually din buy much also ... brought coffee powder back for my family (they smell nicey) .... a few gifts for my gfs .... colleagues who din make it to the trip ... and took the afternoon flight home.....

Vietnam Trip 2008

Hi guys ... I'm back from my Company's retreat ..... yes hmm its an ok - ok trip and tiring ... but overall its an experience ...

ok let me briefly let you know wat i did during the last 2 days .....

Day 1

Arrive at the airport in HCM (hmm i forgot what that airport was called hahaha) quite early and its merely a short flight ... around an hr and half we've reached .... we had airport transfer and was told by our guide that the most important thing while we're in HCM was the traffic .... one word .... TERRIBLE .... full of motor bikes... and they dun follow the traffic rules not like in spore .. they can still go ahead even thou its red light ... so we were told to be very very careful while crossing the roads ...and nver nver do anything sudden like stopping .... wat a weird advise lahz...

Anyway we were unable to check in as the rooms were not ready .. so me, kit, CHT and CPK decided to go for a walk ... we went to a foreign exchange shop quite a few streets away ...after that we went to this Sinh Cafe (no no .. its not a cafe ... as in eatery ...but a travel agency haha) to arrange for a day trip to Mekong Delta ... haha ... and it cost us around USD 11 .... thereafter going to the travel agency ... we decided to follow the list of restaurantes which CHT brought along ...and went in search for this Fanny's Ice cream shop .... using the map ...4 women walk here and back and searching around ... really quite impressed of ourselves when we finally found that shop even thou we like we headless flies flying around looking at the maps and asking ppl .... hahaha ... but its a good reward after that .... the ice cream was really nicey .... and the crepes too!

Later the nice and delicious ice cream and crepes, we decided NOT to walk back to hotel due to the hot weather .... (its really hot) ...wash up and met for dinner with the rest of the group .... at a quite high end restaurant ....and ordered the most expensive food that i had ... US 50 bucks ... but ok lahz ... the food quite nice also lahz... finish dinner we went to the nite market to see see look look but nothing much .... and just full of those fruit flies and bikes .... noisy .... abit dirty ... anyway in the end we went back to hotel to bath and slp .... a tiring day ... fall straight to slp when me and kit just laid on our beds ....

Was watching this drama - 少年杨家将2006 from Channel 8 and finish it on crunchyroll ... and althou I've already knew of the ending but I still cannot help but cried like an idoit when the brothers and father died at 金沙滩

The scenes that makes me 泪流满面 (I dun even remb how many tissues I've used just watching from Episode 38 to 40 ...) really were sad in my opinion very sad ....as compared 2006 one was different from the 2004 one which Su You Peng acted in ... i vaguely remb that 2004 one wasn't as sad as this (and tat korean actress - Cai Lin was it ...wasn't as cute as the actresses in 2006 one hahaha) .... I tried convincing myself that i really should not finish watching the drama or at least skipped the part that they died ... but ... haiz... need to know why there's this lady who say she is 七郎's wife .... sOOoooo bo pian ... i like 七郎's character ..so mischevious ... shy shy cute cute type ... but abit bad that he and his wife only married for one day and he's gone just like tat ...

Anyway I found one scene from youtube which makes me 深刻的体会什么是一把鼻涕，一把眼泪already .... guess the song that accompanies the scene can also makes the effect ... If u guys dun find it that sad its okie ... its just me .... finding myself toOoo damn emotional .... k ...

This scene makes me cried becos 丧夫丧子之痛是很难用言语来形容的。 Here's only a part of it ... it does not show the part where the wifes cried and asking for their husband ... and the part where a mother had to personally help her sons wear their last battle armour for their funerals... well if you guys watch that drama u will understand bahz ... i guess...

Sleepless nights

Yes.....@ 12.22 am on a Friday ...soon to end first week of july ... I declared I've been having sleepless nights for a couple of weeks....

Don't ask me why .... and what or how can this be possible .... in fact it did .... its not that I did not sleep ...but very lightly .... I can clearly say that even with the slightest sound ... a wind ... and there goes ... I'm awake ... and had to turn and toss again in order to go back to meet Uncle Zhou ...

Was wondering issit the results? or was it that "thing" that I've been longing and yet did not get it ..... was it this or was it that .... numerous reasons .... excuses given to myself .... given by others .... Do I really need a break ? what kind? I'm already going to get one ...weekend getaway to Vietnam .... shouldn't I be relax?

Works are back to normal ... and why am I still being in such a weird situation .... very weird indeed .... I'm tired ... and yet I can't sleep .... I've got the pills ... but i'm afraid that it might make situation worse .... wat if i'm addicted to pills and whenever I can't slp I had to had pills ... or drowsy medicines.....

damn .... I was too confident ... but likely din take it too hard .... probably subconsiously I'm prepared for the worst .... cos I know I din have alot of time to prepare my studies .... so ... retaking CG again ...

A Lazy weekend

Din do much for this weekend ... actually spended time at home playing a new NDS game and just completed it .. actually it was quite easy lahz.. the new game was called My Fashion Studio ... basically sewing and making clothes.... and chasing away irritating moths .. hahaha ... so quite simple lor ... and easy to complete ...

Ytd went Orchard Road window shopping with bf .... there was alot of sales going round ...even for the branded goods .... alot of ppl queuing to go into the Shops ...and of cos we did that too ... haha ... but din manage to get anything at all .. cos all seems so expensive and yesh .. even thou i like it alot ... (and even saw the bag that I wanted) but .... haiz... nvm ...

ok pretty much a boring weekend for me ... can't wait for Ming Zhong and my Vietnam trip ...

Ok weird that I'm posting an english post on Ming Zhong? Cos lappie dunno why language bar dun have chinese input ... so can't help it just have to type it out in English ...

Episode 15 was hmm... unexpected lahz... that Chunxi saw a big change in Xinyi ... they squabble, fight and be "cold" towards each other ... but its obvious that there's still love between the two even after two years ... Its abit sad to see that Dylan will remain a good frenz to Xinyi even thou he stand by her thru the 2 years of hardship ...poor Dylan thou ....

anyway I'm always looking forward to the next episode .... =D

Oh ya i got its comic le .. there's only 3 bks ... and even thou I've sort of know the ending to this drama but still quite looking forward to see how the director actually put the scene together ... was in taiwan's entertainment news that there will be some more "A"-rated scenes coming up in order to match the coming new drama - Lan Qiu Huo's A-rated casts ... hmm .. so looking forward to it .... that Lan Qiu Huo also seems quite nice cos got Xiao Zhu in it ... its seems like he's quite a cute character inside that show ... hahaha ... probably can catch in on You tube ....

Ok slight update about life...

When singing with ah Jas yesterday ... erm .. ok lah ..quite long nver go ....and Outram's partyworld still seems so lifeless... but we got quite a big room lahz for the price of a small one ...nevertheless ... its just singing lor hahahaha ....

Hmm nothing much life's pretty much the same ... work, home, surf web , watch tv ... tomoro's meeting the gals for dinner and probably chit chatting again ... guess where we're going ...... MACDONALDs ..... -___-

Lappie has been acting weird recently and so ... yesterday dear help me reformat it ... but initially din manage to format it due to some programs ... still processing .... and we were like pretty frustrated with it ... lucky Sze Yann returned call and help out with the problem over the phone with dearie ... and so ... now I can use computer liao ...

But having another problem is that now my comp cannot read chinese word liao ..weird ... the language bar din have Chinese and Japanese input le... *sobz* so sad ... it says need wat Window XP disc 2 .. gosh where to get that disc two wor .... haiz.... I'm such a chinese person and yet now i type my blog in mandarin liao .... haiz haiz haiz... have to go find and see who got this disc 2 le.... anyway nothing much to update

Game Review - Meccha! Taiko No Tatsujin DS

Haha .. this post is about a recent new NDS game I'm playing and its been a long time since my last game revew......anyway I find this game quite erm interesting .. actually its a simple game lahz... musical one ..and mainly in Japanese... anyway I dunno how to read those wordings and instructions in the game itself.. nevertheless.. i still manage to play ha!

Ok the game is called Meccha! Taiko No Tatsujin DS: 7tsu no Shima No Daibouken.... anyway i only manage to get the Japanese version ... anyone who got the English probali can leave me a msg and let me know muahaha ...

It had previously published one version called Taiko no Tatsujin DS.... same playing style ..which is drum playing actually ... quite fun and brainless game ... good for me cos sometimes I just wanna be brainless and listening to a song which sangs in a different langague ... and the tune was quite good some times... quite fun lahz... can gif it a try if u wanna be brainless like me...=P

刚刚看完第十三集的命中，这一次又是不同的感动。

不是感动于纯希终于知道自己对欣怡的感情，

不是感动于欣怡认真的从新开始，

而是那一幕陈妈妈对纯希所说的话，一位母亲为女儿所感到的委屈，难过与不舍。

只要你听得懂福建话，我相信你也会被那一幕所感动。

那位扮演陈妈妈的演员真的很厉害哦，还记得第一次被她感动是欣怡出嫁的那晚，

她对欣怡说的那一番话，多数也是以福建话说得，听得我眼泪不停的流下。超感动的，虽然这一次并没有掉泪，但还是能体会到一个母亲对女儿的那种保护。

好期待，第十四集的播出哦！

Hi I'm back from HK ... not a gd trip ...it was rainy there ... din buy alot of things actually ... and guys (kel & jas) paiseh din buy food back... i only brought alot of kiam seng tin back for my aunties and grandma....

Am sick today and was MC for today and tml ... coughing terribly since last week ... its been a long time since I'm coughing this badly ... anyway nothing much to update....

Met up with good old Frenz

Today met with one of my good old frenz to have dinner... yesh its a he ..not a she... a very very good frenz - aloy ...we had alot to talk about ... felt very comfortable with him around and so does he... i always felt awarkward whenever I'm around a guy who is not my bf ... in fact i dun have a close guy frenz... probably i always kept my distance... but dunno why aloy becomes my very good frenz ... he can listen to me talk ... althou sometimes he cannot provide good solutions to my problems but at least he's always a good listening ear ...

Was telling him how insecure I am ... the weird things is I'm not feeling insecured becos of my love relationship .. but towards my frenship ... especially towards my gals pals... its a weird feeling i've always had dunno since when ... was it that hurtful past? I'm not sure ... but definately always find fault with myself... always felt that I must have done something wrong towards my gfs ... even thou i know i did nothing actually ... always trying telling myself not to put too much into a relationship ... but could you stop the emotions from flowing ... its so uncontrollable ... i'm no robot ..without any button that spells stops...

Guess this insecurity will always be with me ... *shrug* no cure le .... okie .. I'm flying off to HK in a few more hours ... for another mtg and will be back one day later ... hopefully its a short one ... guess i'm getting more and more farmilar with HK manz ...

刚刚看完命中的第十二集，

对安娜我觉得是个可怜的女人，其实自己应该已经知道即将失去纪纯希但还是不惜做最后的挽留。

对纪纯希只觉得又是一个等到失去后才知道要珍惜的人。

对陈欣怡只觉得是个笨女人，我想当一个女人真的爱上的时候真的会变得很笨。

很可惜，失去纪念品...那一幕真让我感到难过及偏是我已经知道后果会是如此还是不免感到特别难过...一个母亲失去孩子的痛，谁能真正体会除非曾经经历过。

Who is Yve?

A really simple looking gal... who has lived for 23 years and ongoing ....

not really smart .... thus nver pass her exams with any flying colors... but lucky her studies sailed smoothly for 13 yrs (and going cos still studying mahx)

Althou not smart at all .... she had a very very complex (and very pessimistic) mindset ...simple words...she's just tinks too much.... althou complex but she can sometimes be quite analytical ... and help her frenz analyse their problems... but nver her own....

definately a good listener but a bad adviser ...cos she always 一针见血

100% emotional .... cry easily ... looks tough but really 刀子口豆腐心， trying bring her to watch a really emotional movie and you'll find out urself.... actually no need movie lahz... a simple crying scene and you will know ... gosh ... seems so much like a cry baby horr... weird ...

Can be quite a lamer and joker.... but i guess only close frenz can understand her ....

Also 95% workaholic...(tat 5% she insist she's not one muahahaha) ....if put working late and going out with frenz together on the same day ...she will goes for the option of working first ...but choosing between delaying her work and getting "killed" by her frenz... she of cos chooses the latter ...

hmmm for the time being i guess thats all .... if got more do let me know muahahaha ... good or bad she'll humbly accept.... =)

Funny Man

Saw this funny guy earlier when I was on my way home from work .. and thou i'll jus blog about him ...

Was walking towards the bus stand @ JE bus interchange after buying my dinner @ 8.30 pm ... and walking towards me was this tall and strong build guy walking so ya-ya ... and he was really tall .. i tink one head taller than me .... and really quite big size... not in terms of fat lahx... but in his build i guess ... like those who always goes work out ... anyway that's not the main point ...

the main point is he was wearing this black old Police style SUNGLASS .... yes .. u did not see the word wrongly .... its BLACK SUNGLASS ... @ 8.30 PM .... and i only realise that after I walk pass him ... making it worst is its an old police style ... why i know ..cos my ah pa also got one ...and i tink I saw my bro wearing his frenz one when he went to genting a few years back .... so tat sunglass leave a deep impression ...

And i was looking around ..esp at the "new" lightings of the JE interchange... yesh ... a part of JE interchange has replaced a slightly brighter lightings.... BUT its still not that bright until you need to wear a BLACK sunglass to protect ur eyes from those lights... dam that guy really makes me wan to laugh out really loud .... lucky i maintain my laughter ... lucky he din knock onto me too .... anyway this is the funny thing i wan to share ... but i guess u jus haf to see him den u know what's funny about him .... A big tall malay guy wearing a old police style black sunglass...walking along the "bright" and "sunny" JE interchange @ 8.30 pm .... hilarious!

Yesh ... Have been editing the html codes of my new skins for the past 1 hr plus.... tedious work ... and tada ..finally after so long~~~~~ a new skin to my blog .... too bad i still dunno how to create skins if not .. haha ... it will be a one and only one skins in this world .... wait till i got the time and energy to figure out how to create nice nice skins using photoshop muahaha .... anyone knows probably can give me some tips or soo... thanks thanks...

Ok ... tis new skin abit tiny... and so the only thing that cannot be edited would be nuffnang's ad column so abit go outside the skins ... looks weird but can't help it ...

Photo Editing ... Cool

Hee hee recently manage to get Photoshop Elements 6.0 program ... and so I've tried searching the net for tutorials...and tada .... my result (see pixs below).... but a pity only manage to learn how to put up frame.... but really quite interesting lor ... and not easy at all ... those layers and stuffs.... but i guess its something new and so it interest me lor ...(at least I'm much more interested in photoshop than my CFM ...)

Exam is finished for my CG .... so hope that I will be able to pass lahz... based on my calculation should be able to scrap thru .... *pray* den i will proceed with CA aka Corporate Administration ... hearing from frenz that this module also not easy as it actually covers quite a few aspects like human resources, roles and functions of an administrator, Insurance and Risk Management etc.... gosh i dunno why a company secretary had to know all this ... are we expected to such an all-rounder..??

Anyway ... back to work last friday .... erm as usual busy ... but somehow my assistant seems more busy and erm .... her desk is full of files.... abit messy i find it ...and dun really know how to let her know.... ok probably I'm a picky woman ... I like to work in an "no-files" environment...althou working as a corp sec you will need to refer to your client's statutory records every now and then ... but i prefer to put the files back to their original place rather than lying there "accompany" me while I've already finished using them and is already working on other things ..... so erm ... dunno lehz.... i jus abit cannot stand it bahz.... and

correspondences filing .... in our working environment...we, corp sec, like or LOVES to print emails and stuffs... so we are actually NOT environmental friendly at all .... and daily emails printout can kill u (no la not tat exaggerate jus tat it will waste ur time lor~) if you dun have the time to file them .... and another thing which I'm picky about is the filing lorr.... she haiz...din file the prints out for 2 weeks (since I'm away) ...

Ok probably its becos there's really too many emails printout and things that she needs to handle while i'm not around ... but there should be some times bahz...well erm at least make some time out for filing after work .... at least I did remb I use to do that when I'm alone (without an assistant) ..... haiz...really if such filings are not filed probably its every difficult to find things and files.... and if u got too many papers on ur desk ... sometimes you'll tend to lose important papers like resolutions or documents that requires execution lor.... so now i abit scared scared...and requested that she clear her table first .... i rather she take time out to file those printouts and I handle the clients' matters first lor .... haixx... or probably I'm just too picky lahz...

Ok anyway ... public holidays for May ended and I did get to enjoy it ... and Jun no public holis...July got 3 days to Ho Chin Ming City .... Aug got to attend 2Q Meetings again ... this time round gotta fly twice .... SG to Shanghai to SG den SG to Xiamen to SG ... tiring .... man its no fun flying around I tell you .... how I used to envy those air stewardess .... now.... not any more....

早晨醒来，两只浮肿带点黑熏的眼睛宣示了昨夜的奋斗，

睡眼惺忪拖着疲惫不已的身体梳洗了自己，喝了包豆奶。

手里握着充满密密麻麻英文字体的文件，口里不停的碎碎念，脑里不停的在吸收。

十点钟，走进了那间不大不小的房间，坐在第14号的桌子。

三个小时候，感到手指的酸痛，原来自己写了那么多，翻看答案簿，

之前的空白已被那些英文字体布盖。交上去之后，整个人也变得轻松多了，

脑袋瞬间变得空荡荡，漫无目的得往回家的路去。

现在，终于能大声的说：

我自由了！！！ (^_^)V

Back from HK Mtgs

Hi guys ... using this slight break from my studies to update about my trip ... its packed with meetings ... and could only go walk around during the night after the meetings' finished ... and as me and my manager was taking the evening flight back to SG ..so we do still have one morning during our last day to slight shop .... Even though its was a short trip but i spent a bomb for tis trip ... haix....

Took some photos while shopping along the streets with another manager (my manager was attending another meeting at that time...) see my skill with effects hee...

Brought a coach bag for my mum for mothers' day lahz... cos its like she's been seeing all my other aunties got themselves a coach bag ... so i tot might as well also buy one for her lor ..since she 不舍得 spend the money ... yupz so in the end i brought the below bag for her .... ok lah ... din really felt any pinch in the heart .... so i tink in the end my conscience still felt that its worth it de lor ... (cos usually if i buy things which my conscience felt its useless and worthless ... i will feel very regret after that ... ha weird gal right ...) anyway in the end she seems like she quite like it lor ..even thou after she heard the price she's quite shock .... hahaha ...

Den I also brought my dear a watch ... cos he say his strip on his old watch spoilt le ... so in the end brought on watch from Esprit for him as our 2nd year anniversary gift .... well he also like it lah ... =) and the pricing i also nver felt a pinch wor ... so again its worthwhile ... =D

Me and my manager went to Tung Chung shopping .. there's a shopping mall which most of the shops was having sales ... althou the items does not seems like the latest seasons one but to us its ok lor .. so long its nice and price is reasonable .... so in the end me and my boss went to Kate Spade and each got a bag ... muahahaha .... gosh i was telling her that we were like rich woman going to branded shop and buy things .... hahaha .... ok la my bag cost me 200 sing bucks ... erm .. althou it is still like expensive but at least i felt that its worth it ... cos i dun really think for a Kate Spade bag U'll get it at 200 sing bucks bah... hmmm anyway buy le ..so no regret also lahz... =) at least manage to get something for myself and my own ... ar bo every trip like I'm spending money on other ppl rather than myself ... although i dun have any 怨言 lah ... but should also 宠一宠自己嘛 right ... =D

And we saw this funny sign on the airport shuttle bus .... and we were like saying the english abit weird weird de ... but to take it seriously ... its an offence wor ... =P

So frenz...when in HK dun talk to a driver k.... its an offence.... (i tink it add "when driving" behind lorr... hahaha)

Lastly ... its about the China Sichuan Province's earthquake ... din get the news until I was in HK on monday ..... its really a tragedy ..which i nobody expected ..and all we other ppl from else where just have to 有钱出钱，有力出力了。 Other may also pray that those who have lost their loved ones... stay strong .... I really cried seeing the news ... the children gone just like tat in this disaster .... the parents crying their hearts out losing their child .... all i can say is 节哀。

We cannot prevent natural disasters from happening .. but I do hope that the government of disaster affected areas will take more caution in preventing more harm to their ppl ... learn from other countries with good measures.... then at least will be able to prevent from losing so many precious human lifes...

Hi Guys... its been one week since I last updated ... haha .. cos I'm quite busy with work .. every day reach home I'll be slacking ... dun even have the mood to STUDY ... so I'm pretty scared whether tis time round what am I gonna do with my exam ... HAIXXX ....

Anyway .... went to a Poly mate's solemnisation yesterday ... it was at Aloha Changi ... VERY VERY VERY far .... and wu lu ... our taxi missed the entrance to the resort but luckily the taxi driver was quite good ... waited for us to check with our frenz den drove us there nver put us at one side to our own "death" ...and after reaching there met up with ah Jas and her hub - garrick....and so very concidence one of my best sec sch fren - Ting was also one of the bride's poly frenz... so we sort of met and chit chatted slightly.... well ... *shrug* everyone seems to be getting married now ... its like the "HOT" thing to do this year ... otherwise the next BIG thing would be having a child ... gosh ... it still seems like yesterday when we were all sitting at NP canteen having lunch and rushing for classes....

Haiz... time really flies manz.... okie ...anyway no photos from yesterday cos my dear bf din not help me put in my cammie into my bag .... haixxx wasted!!!

Anyway .... I'll be away from tomorrow onwards and wont be back until 23 May ... why? Cos tml till 15 May I'll be in HK for work ... den after that I would be on leave ... trying my best to concentrate on my studies cos exam is on 22 May ... (T_T)

Guess the only thing I'll be missing would be this:

Oh ya I've got 2 novel for Ming Zhong ..so who looking for its novel ..I'm willing to sell wor... tag me and let me know... =)

And previously I've been saying I'm getting its comic rite... the comic connection @ IMM dun have... Kino @ taka and bugis sold out ...borders @ wheelock dun sell ...gosh those major bookstores have search and really din manage to get ... haizz... guess have to wait... in the end i brought Koisura aka 恋空 from Kino ... jus started half way ... hmmm ok lahz... talking about a high school 初恋 which ended due to the guy being sick (got cancer) and in order not to be a burden to the gal .. the guy initial the break off ... so hmm.... its someting like those chn novels i read .... ok lor... wait till i finish i'll let u guys know whether the story plot touches me or not ... =D

Ok .. .I'm going off liao .. surfing net ...waiting for my Ming Zhong Episode 9 ...gosh i really hope they can upload it by tonight .... *pray* and *pray harder*

Arlow.. First and foremost, I am not free during tis time of the day and definate when it is on a tuesday evening ... so now I'm jus making use of the little winy bit of free time when i'm releasing my client's announcement via the SGXNet to make this post...

Was waiting for the page of SGXNet to load and meanwhile surfing alittle bit of other websites jus to let my mind off alittle bit... and of cos i will surf my pal (Ms Jas's) website lahx.. and saw that she got tis tiny poll which she created using Nuffnang... and someting plank me.. that hmm I haven been visiting Nuffnang for like a very very long time... basically i dun go in there muahahaha .. cos i always tends to forget that i've create an account with them... =P

Bo pian ... forgetful yve is ALWAYS in action... and so .. when i went in today... i found out that i ACTUALLY had an earning of S$0.60 ....wor.... WOW.... it actually helps me earn 60 cents ... althou its not like ALOT... but i really din know tat i help me earn $$ one worr... I basically just put it for the sake of putting ..muahaha ... anyway quite happy that those ads are actually not worthless at all lahz... well a noob here sOOo 多多支持啦

不知道你们有时候会不会感到原来以前很要好很要好得朋友，曾经有很多话题围绕着你们但是随着时间慢慢的前进，你们的感情也慢慢的变淡。以前围绕的话题变的越来越少。

尤其当慢慢的彼此有了另外一半的时候，那个很要好的朋友不再是你第一时间寻找的倾诉对象？你会感到害怕吗？害怕自己即将失去这位曾经那么要好得朋友吗？

不知道是不是我太感性，对朋友终是太于在乎，有时候好烦恼，是自己太过依赖朋友吗？太在乎朋友对自己的看法吗？太急着想讨好朋友吗？还是，对朋友的感情始终放的太多得到的却永远比自己预期的少呢？

今天写这篇文章并没有什么含义啦，只是我的一位好朋友（有可能 - 可能性蛮大的啦）明年将跟随她老公到美国去。身为好朋友的我们当然无法挽留，也想不到任何理由把她留在这里。只有依很轻松，开玩笑的方式叫她放心的去吧。

一年的时间很快就会过去的，到时候又可以在见面。

但是为什么会让我觉得距离和时间将会是导致我们的友情慢慢的变质呢？不要怪我想太多，或许现实就是如此，世界上没有不变质的东西。即便是深厚的有感情也一样，会随着时间的流失变了质我们也不知道。

Aloha .... slight update ....

Tue (15/4) - Met up with my old sec sch fren - Ting and we've arranged to meet at vivo city at 7 pm in the end she was late for an hour ... dotxxxx.... but ok lah ... at least with that 1 hr while she's late I went walk walk ard Vivo and as usual ... entered the bookstore (of which the name i've totally forgotten hahahah) and founded the book of which the Taiwan Drama I'm catching now .... Yippie ....

Thur (17/4) - MC why? cos ate too much heaty food ... the day before me and my bf brought 30 satays from the clementi hawker food centre .... and most of the satays was finished by the both of us..... Sooo the results of it .... sore eyes due to my nose.... *haiz*

Fri (18/4) - First I met my insurance agent to talk about an accidental policy increment for my brother which he missed it the previous time .... get all the forms for him ... den had an update about my own ... and chit chat with him about additional policy which i can get for myself and my family ... so in the end we conclude on my agent finding out more on the hospitalisation policy ... which to me i think is pretty important .... tat policy actually helps to pay some of your hospitalisation expenses ... even thou we wont know when we will be in a hospital ..... *choy*

But its always good to be safe den sorry .... and now the hospital bills are really going up high .... with that policy it will help to lighten the burden ...

Den I rush to Plaza Sing to meet up with my pals ... i.e. Jas, Yan and Linz .... for dinner @ KFC ... come to tink of it ... we four first time have dinner at KFC wor ... usually we go to those mid-class restaurant ... hahahaha .... we sat at the KFC from 8 to 9.30 pm ... eating cum chit chatting ...

Thereafter, we initially wanted to go to TCC but after waiting for like 10 mins ... we decided to change to the nearest pub cum dinning place further up (which of cos i have forgotten its name lahxx) but Jas cannot join us cos she's was having class the next day ....

So we three gals ... really abit over estimated ourselves... ordered one signature drinks each and a jug of mixer ... named C.M.F .... which we all thinks that it should renamed as C.M.I .... not nice at all .... like my lychee martini instead ... haha ... and we drank until 1 am lor... sit there chit chat .. and drank until all three of us abit hmm not really drunk but also not very sober ...heads were spining in the end ... and we took cabs home ...

Drop "dead" on my bed straight after i reach home ... haven had tat kinda feeling like since tat time i went double O with Jas and Linz...

Sat (19/4) - wake up early and went to a facial session .... and met dear at IMM for lunch .... dinner i even cooked veges with mushroom for him althou he hiam again lah ... dun like the mushroom yet still agrees when i say i wan to cook .... haixx... but overall .. its edible and the veges was jus nice ... at least he like the veges ... a simple and normal day ...

Sun (20/4) - today ...I jus finished attending Ah Mao's solemnisation and wedding ... its was a simple and yet quite entertaining dinner .. and its abit different .... not ballroom ... not really restuarant ... it was out door ... althou it has its pros .. it also has it cons... cos today wasn't windy at all .... so we all felt abit warm and humid .... but overall the food was nice .... and the bride was pretty .... enjoyed the event quite good ...

Okie .. fine ... its been awhile since my last post... and the last post doesn't seems like a happy post... anyway wat's past has past .... dun really wanna talk much about it ...

Anyway my life hasn't changed much .. still as busy althou my new assistant got in last Monday... welll she hmm .. really like to learn lor ... i cannot denied that ... but sometimes she really asked alot of questions and being a nice senior .. of cos i will try to explain EVERYTHING that she asked lorr .... and by doing that right i pratically left with very very little time to tackle the problems "created" by my clients.... so sometimes have to stay OT in order to resolve all those problems lorrr....

hmm ok ok let me try to see if i remb what had i did .... oh ya ... me and my bf tried making Chocolate fondue last weekend ... hahaha ... hmmmm cannot really say its a failure ... it still taste like Chocolate muahahah ... but its jus that hmmm does not really "stick" like those sold outside de lor ... but overall okiee....

Den last nite me and my bf catched the movie - Definately, maybe ... hmmm

overall i find the movie not bad lahz... a story about a guy ... discovering his true love with the help of his daughter... and how he tells his love story to his daughter... i find his daughter quite cute lor ...

Den recently i dun have any mood for studies.. dunno why ... haiz... been writing my notes but always write half way den no mood to continue ... haix... very terrible .... howwwww...!!! gosh .. exam coming sooOon .. and time is running out tooOO.... sianxxx..

Ok ...i just found this nice drama on PP.... its 命中注定我爱你....now i know why its rating was higher than my Kiss again .... its really niceeey ... plot is totally the kind tat i like ... Cinderelle story ... yeah ... so i'm gonna catch it now ... ciaoxxx..

Review of NDS Game

Yoz Yoz .... today talk about one NDS game which I'm playing recently ...

Its called - Professor Layton and the Curious Village

This game is actually about solving puzzles ... and dun you underestimate this game ... (cos initially i did ..and regret it...ha!) the puzzles inside can be quite tough ... (probably I'm too stupid since long time nver use brain liao muahahaha) and it proof to be challanging too ... those puzzles.... and somehow the story line makes you wan to continue solving those puzzles.... no wonder editor's choice actually rate this game 9.0 ...pretty cool game .... till now i was still able to crack some of the puzzles ... but will still meet with obstacles.... hahaha .... let's hope i will not give up half way .... =)

Hi hi .... its another weekend... and soon March will be over ... (in exact its in one day' time) dam so fast wor ...

How's my week..? Erm ... actually i abit forgot what have I've been doing the past week ... busy with work as usual lahz.. and also have been looking at tour packages for taiwan ... really need a break.... go another country for a break and not for work ... how nice can it be ... ahhh ... *Yve dreaming...*

Okie... since sunday hasn't really come yet ...I'll just let u guys know what my saturday was like..

went for a haircut .... erm just some trimming ...intending to let my hair grow longer den can go for perming again ... well thinking of change a new hairstyle lately ... =) we'll just have to see how in the coming months lorrr...

Den slack at home ...slping and watched this korean documentary on SCV....goshhh it shows the host travel to Hokkaido, Japan and went around Hokkaido and its small towns.... in that province .... dam got alot alot of nice nice scenary and new things to see and explore lor .. making me so jealous and hoping to go Hokkaido too ... *sob* when can i go Hokkaido!!!!

Den after a good nap ... it was too late to go IMM to settle some bills... haix.. so have to just make it to my grandma hse for dinner .. oh ya ..cos it was grandpa's bday together with one of my cousin's ... so celebrate together and one of my auntie ordered buffet ... from Mum's Kitchen ...

The food was not bad actually .. and it was a fun evening ... oh ya got some pics too ....

Hi ppl .... slight update about my life.... as per last post .. i was too busy with work ... really i dun even have time for my bf let alone my frenz.... sorry dear dear .... always make u accompany me till the late night at my office.... sorry my frenz haven had the time to at least msg u guys .. checking u gals out .... so damn sorry ....

ok ... erm me and my bf watch Step up 2: on the street .... last saturday @ JEC after dinner.... the show was not back ... comparing to its previous one .. this show's about hip hop dancing ... on the streets ... as usually the last part on the dance competition it was usually the nicest ....

den ytd me and bf went to Vivo ... to Tangs to get the 熨斗 that my mum ask me to buy .... and there's this Bridal Roadshow going on ... gosh alot of ppl like getting married lorr..... well ... the pricing are NOT cheap at all i tell u .... (not as if i got a package or anything lahx...) jus that i was being handled some brochures....

anyway ... we were like going around Vivo buy movie tix den go to tangs.... like quite busy rather than the usual window shopping that we had intended ....

We got the movie tix for Horton .. erm.... the show was ok lor ... for kids and reallly for kids.... funny of cos got its funny parts lahz but hmmmm best for a weekday tix rather than weekends.... =) too expensive to watch cartoon on a weekday ...

Anyway in the end due to my laziness (as usual) i did not went back to work on Good friday ... soooo i pretty much guess that my next week will be pack with working OT again ..and tormenting myself with "why am i so pitiful" phrases.... hope u guys can bear with my complains...

Oh ya ... these past three days I've been "reading" Bleach comics online .... i really like the comic rather than its anime thou u can really see the funny parts from the anime....

现在的心情很难过，不舒服...

很烦！需要完成的工作太多太多，多到令我的心情变得很糟很糟，没胃口吃饭，头痛....很不舒服的感觉。

一句话------我不想做了！！！

我承认我并不是个很会疏解压力的人，反而会把压力和烦恼往内心里藏。

或许我的忍耐力超强的，有或许健忘的我以为时间会慢慢冲淡我的压力与无能为力...反正就是觉得这些就是我必须承受的，没有人可以帮到我即便是我喊救命。

在这职场里，可以病死，操劳死，就是不可以没做....这逐渐的变成了我的认知....

很可悲的认知阿。

China Trip 2008

WARNING!!! LONG POST.... AND I MEAN IT REALLY REALLY LONG ... HAHAX

Ok actually I was about to forget that I'm SUPPOSE to update about my china trip .... hahaha!!! Ya forgetful Yve in action... but nvertheless...I still remember... =D

Day 1 (22 Feb 08)

Had to take the first early flight to Xiamen ... and my first meeting was on the very same day ... gosh was abit nervous actually .... FIRST overseas meeting lehx.... the previous nite was still clearing work .... haixx...

Met my manager, CHT at the airport.... my bf sent me there...as in airport not china ..haha and after meeting my manager and getting our boarding pass we just went in liao lor ... poor dear had to send me off early den go home alone... lucky he was on leave that day ... We took Silkair... and it was after we boarded the plane den i discovered... NO inflight entertainment.... how i regretted NOT bringing my NDS.....haixxx......so for the 4 hrs long flight both me and my mgr had a nap on the plane.... bo pian...

After the tiring flight....reaching Xiamen ... our client came to pick us up ...the weather was cooling ... reminds me of Perth in winter...we had a long ride to reach our meeting place... a very glam resort....and met up with the directors... had lunch...a 8 course lunch...gosh!!! got 鱼翅 somemore.... but din finish all my lunchie lah.. too much ... and think probably abit stress so gastric abit pain ....

After the meeting... we had dinner with our client again ... another course dinner ... and from lunch till dinner ..they kept drinking ...some more is BLUE LABEL... (aka whiskey) ...haix...

After dinner, those IDs asked my mgr to join them for karaoke.... yesh karaoke... my mgr and I tot that its those normal KTV and only the 4 of us go .. and we did specifically asked (or my mgr lahx) them that we two go are really OK de.... BUT when we are there its just not the one that we tot it was lor .... its actually got 小姐陪坐 one lor ... super dotxxxx

Den one of the ED and the FC also got go .. luck got the FC "look" after us ... and its really a weird experience lor ... U'll only see these things on movies... those gals walked in rows and let the guys picked lor .... damn weird ... but quite fun lah... an experience indeed ....

Stayed there until 1 am and den off back to hotel .... oh ya nice hotel room I've got ... and one big bed to myself ... abit unused to it at first ... but tiredness got over me ...

Day 2 (23 Feb 08)

Me and CHT got a day off today .... and ytd we told our client that we wanted to go 鼓浪屿, an island just near Xiamen ... and my client was so good that they arrange for the driver to accompany us the whole day ...

First he drove us to the pier .. had to take a ferry to get onto the island .. and he took us to a speedboat ride around the 鼓浪屿 ...damn cool .... my first speedboat ride ...so exciting until i totally forgot about bringing out my cammie to record it .. ha wasted!

After the ride, we got on the island.... went to the wax museum, had seafood lunch ... went to the piano museum ... puppet show.... had mua ji ...damn nice.... pratically the driver fed us like little piglets.... hahaha ....

After the trip to 鼓浪屿, we went to 南普陀寺 den followed by shoppings.... practically we were like tourist for tat day ... hahaha ...

Day 3 (24 Feb 08)

Nothing fancy ... cos checking out and leaving Xiamen today .... driver drove us to get Ba Gua first den to the airport .. oh ya forgot to tell u guys that the Ba Gua really is NICE ... better than 美真香 so anyone who goes Xiamen must get it ... its call 香贡贡 hahahaa ....

Met up CPK and took the internal flight to Shanghai .... reached Shanghai in the afternoon ... OMG the weather was colder than Xiamen ... much colder .... took a private cab to the hotel ... the road was SOOO packed with vehicles ... and Chinese ppl really NO patient ..even at Xiamen ...their driving skills SUCKS....

After checked in the hotel, we went to the 上海书城...also packed with ppl ...and we even walked there ... pathway was uneven ... slight rain .... cold cold breeze .... lucky got bring winter wear ... arbo I really dunno how am I going to survive the coldness ...

Met up with my mgr's frenz and we went to the Raffles City @ Shanghai .... the shops stuffs was expensive ... really cannot buy de .... den tried the 上海小笼包 nothing incredible also ... and after that we went to this 蝶园 and had Shanghainese food ... not bad actually ...

After food we walked along a street called Xintiandi?? i tink its called this ... somewhat like our boat quay ... full with pubs.... but we did not get a drinks lah ...cos weather too cold ... but CHT and CPK did get some cakes from this bakery call wat Paul de ... i forgot its name .. the eclair was niceey .... =)

den we spend the nite watching dvd at my hotel room ..and tats it ...

Day 4 (25 Feb 08)

Another meeting day ... nothing much ... CPK flew back to SG today ... me and CHT had dinner at a new shopping mall i think ..cos not much ppl ... stuffs was still expensive .... den we walked to Nanjing Road .... CHT got a pair of boots and i got a short winter coat .. haha ...

Its freaking cold ....with rain .... in the end due to the coldness and rain we just have to walk to Meridien Hotel to try to catch a cab ... but to no avail ... in the end we arrange with the ppl at Meridien Hotel for their car to drive us back to Westin ... haha ... RMB 200 bucks.... and its only a short distance ride ..abt 10 mins nia ....

The seventh day of the Lunar New Year is traditionally known as renri, 人日，the common man's birthday, the day when everyone grows one year older..... (T_T old liao....). On this day, people usually will also tossed raw fish salad known as yusheng, 鱼生, making wishes for continued wealth and prosperity.

Legends was told that the customs dates back to the Han Dynasty (汉朝）, and became more important after the three kingdoms period （三国时代） and Jin Dynasty (元朝）. Traditional Chinese were Rensheng (人勝）on their heads, or put sliced gold on pingfeng and hair. Poems are composed too. (dotxxx) Emperors after Tang Dynasty (唐朝）may grant beautiful clothes to his fellows on this day.

If the weather on Renri is fine, it can be forecast that "God" will give luck to all people on earth. Fireworks and Hua Pao are lit, so renri celebrates the "birthday" of fire as well. (0.o ... woo ..fire also got birthday...).

Since the first days of zhengyue are considered "birthdays" of different animals, Chinese people avoid killing the animals on the respective birthday and punishing prisoners on renri.

Yusheng , (鱼生) is a Chinese-style raw fish salad. It usually consists of strips of raw fish (most commonly salmon), mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. Yusheng literally means "raw fish" but since "fish (鱼)" is commonly conflated with its homophone "abundance (余)", Yúshēng (鱼生) is interpreted as a homophone for Yúshēng (余升) meaning an increase in abundance. Therefore, yusheng is considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor.

History of Yusheng:

Fishermen along the coast of Guangzhou traditionally celebrated Renri by feasting on their catches.[1] This practice may have started in Chaozhou and Shantou as far back as the Southern Song Dynasty. In Malaya's colonial past, migrants imported this tradition; porridge stalls sold a raw fish dish which is believed to have originated in Jiangmen, Guangzhou province that consisted of fish, turnip and carrot strips, which was served with condiments of oil, vinegar and sugar that were mixed in by customers. The modern yusheng dish originated in Malaya in what is modern Singapore during CNY in 1964 in Lai Wah Restaurant and was invented by master chefs Than Mui Kai (Tham Yu Kai, co-head chef of Lai Wah restaurant). Together with Lau Yoke Pui (co-head chef of Lai Wah Restaurant), Hooi Kok Wai (founder of Dragon-Phoenix Restaurant) and Sin Leong, Than Mui Kai was named as one of the Four Heavenly Culinary Kings of Singapore some 40 years ago for their Cantonese culinary prowess and ingenuity. The taste of the original raw fish dish was standardized with a special sauce using plum sauce, rice vinegar, kumquat paste and sesame oil, and the fish was served with carrots, chilli, turnips, limes, jellyfish, red pickled ginger, sun-dried oranges and other ingredients, turning this simple dish into an exquisite salad with 27 ingredients.

The original dish used raw mackeral, although in deference to the popular wishes of customers, salmon was later offered as an alternative. Initially intended as a promotional gimmick to drum up business to Hooi, Lau, Sin and Than's respective restaurants, this dish rapidly became popular all over Singapore and has since spread to Malaysia and Hong Kong as well.

Since then, yusheng has become a staple CNY dish in Spore as well as in Chinese communities in M'sia and is typically available only during this festive season. It is also popular in HK.

Ok actually now its pass midnight and into the second day of the lunar new year ... I spend the whole erm afternoon yesterday ...at home... woke up very late like...noon...cos i slept only at 3 am in the morning ... watching shows.... hmm not really a good excuse thou ...

Den went to my grandma hse ... and hmm dunno does this consider a good news or bad news... the doggie which had been with my grandma for like 15 years... ya thats a very long time... he passed away this afternoon .... natural death ... too old we think ... he hasn't been tat healthy these two years.... slow in walking ...not standing very stable and stuffs.... so when we all heard the news ...probably its a relief .... for a while i did felt abit strange without him moving around the house ... or seeing him sleep at his usual corner .... but tink he's in a better world now at least .... RIP Mickey .... We'll be missing you...

Hi guys ... updating you guys that i had a eventful weekend this week ...

Saturday ~

Was instructed by my (sick) mom ..to bring my brother to the Chinese Sinsei .. and becos we two (bro and sis) are lazy bums..we slept until 9 plus den 10 plus den move out of house... reach the chinese sinsei place ..we still gotta wait ...and i even manage to find one of my new chn novels... hee...

After finish @ the sinsei, I met my bf and had Subway @ westmall .... the subway melt was really good (yummy) den we decided (actually was me who made the decision ha!) to go NTUC and get some CNY stuffs... cos mum was sick and so dun really wan her to go NTUC herself to get those heavy drinks... so with my bf ard hee he can help out... and tat was really nice of him .... hee... but we din get much except for a carton of coke (which was really damn heavy) and a few snacks here and there ... and it already weights ALOT!

Anyway was deadbeat when i got home ...and took a "long" nap hahaha.... went to IMM (our "fav" place) and had Ichiban Sushi for dinner .. cos i feel like eating Japanese...den we walked ard IMM...getting some new year clothes for myself and moi's bf .... and he also got me my V day prezzie... yeah yeahh.... but hor kekeke i haven load from my cammie so no pixs guys ....

Erm its quite a gift lah ... i LOVED it totally ... quite expensive also .. in terms of all the prezzie he got for me ... i even ask him repeatedly whether he thinks its worth it to buy or not ... kekekeke ... well in the end he did brought it for me ..and all i got was this BIG smile on my face after i got it ... muahahahaha ... *幸福的Yve*

Sunday ~

Mum informed last night that I've gotta go to the market with her this early morning ...and so reluctuantly ... i leave my comfortable bed early @ 7 am ... SOOOOooo early for a Sunday ... T_T but bo pian ... mum was too sick to carry heavy stuffs... (kept coughing too) ..

And hor dun think that the market i wrote here was those supermarket hor... it NOT .... it's those wet market lor ... got fresh chicken ...veggies...fishs... and alot alot alot other things ... and one thing i know was that those aunties right... their "driving" skills reallly ... tok gong okie...

"Driving" not as in Cars or motorcycle okie... it was those carts (in metal or box) with two wheels and a handle.... gosh ... if u ain't careful to avoid them .. ur feets and toes will feel pain... really... i was trying NOT to knock into anyone (it was damn packed) and trying to avoid those carts... lucky Mum did not listen to Dad and push the carts to market... it was pratically JAMMED with human beings and CARTS!!! (-___-)

We finally get to leave the market ard 8 plus... getting all the stuffs we wanted..those things really weights like tonnes... gosh cannot imagine me going to the market in the future....真的是难以想象...

After the "tour"@ wet market this morning ... i went for my facial appointment... and there i got another new 体会 which is 女人真的很能忍。

See ... eye brow plucking makes me really understand that ...women are really tolerant creatures... how can they do it manz.... i really dun understand ... even thou i'm a woman ... they bear with the child bearing pain... the morning sickness...the PMS pain ... even to make them beautiful...doing facial ..slimming... etc etcc ... they can all bear with those pain ...GOSH!!! how did they do it... *shrug* 真佩服女人!

Aloha ...I've had been soOOoo damn busy with work ..why?? cos we'll be moving place soon ... office will no longer be at Bank of China Building with effect from 28 January 2008.... and where will we be ?? We're moving to SIA Building .... in the middle of nowhere ... haix... 1st time after 3 years plus in raffles place... I'm "moving" (together with the office lahx) to tanjong pagar ... i'm gonna missed OUB centre's Thai Green Curry Chicken .... Caltex House's Korean food... Victoria Concert Hall's cafe 的 chocolate icecream .... and alot alot of other things...

Althou everytime I complain about being sick of Raffles Place... but now i'm missing tat place oreadi ... (nahz bo lah ... not tat 严重) anyway me such a lazy person wont walk back to Raffles for lunch de lor.. haixx....

okie okie .. erm ...have been packing those filessssss into boxes ..but space was damn limited sooo can't actually do much ... have to wait until 23rd like that den start dumping all operational files into the boxes lor ...

Oh ya ..last friday went to watch the movie - 27 dresses ... quite a ermm how to say lehz.... abit romantic and lovey-dovey.... with a bitchy character who is the sister of the main character - Jane.... and a so-so looking Jane's boss.... oh oh and a so-so cute looking male leading actor - Kevin .... overall i think its pretty much a gal movie... cos its about wedding and stuffs... so gals will probably drag their bfs to catch this show.... overall rating from Yve is a 4 star movie ...why? cos Yve's a gal .. muahahahahaha .... okie okie ... every gal dreams about a lavish romantic weddings and a damn beautiful wedding dress okie.... oh i love the part where the bride walks down the aisle to her groom ..... dunno why ... it just felt so erm so .... sweet? can't tink of the word to describe it anyway .. hahaha ....

Oh and guess what ..the show tat we catch ...it was 11.15 pm show wor ... damn tiring after watching tat movie .... and catch the NR 5 home... haix... i'm not gonna get Cathay's free tix movie anymore their timing for good movie sucks....

anyway back to topic... erm.... wat did i do .. haha i forgot .... oh okie... when to watch the 料理天王 korean movie... a very touching and comedian movie.. haha and i actually cried THREE times for this movie.. gosh ... my very first time ... not first time cry when watching movie but first time i cried THREE times in a movie wor .. so u can see its really touching lahx...

And this movie's plot is actually very simple .... i tink its basically those touching parts and espcially those funny ones haha....

anyway din have a fab weekend anyway ..going to watch my 恶作剧二吻了。

Jacky Cheung's Concert 06.01.08

Hi guys... back for some updates ~~~

First was a KTV outing last friday with Jas, Adele, Wilson and my bf ....we went to this Ten Dollar Club KTV @ Chinatown ... hmmm ok lah not bad lor ... got touch screen monitor worr... quite a cool thing lahz ... well at least its different from the ?Box and ???World KTV ....and it even allows us to bring our own food there .... also something different .... they din even charge us GST .... even more cool ..... in total we spent around 50 bucks + from 7 pm to 10 pm ... so consider cheap liao lor ... and its on a Friday night .... songs were also quite new .... but me and my bf din sing much lahx... we weren't there early ...reach about 8 pm and was busy eating dinner .... but nice to meet up with Wilson lahx.... he even say he 金盆洗手 on mahjong .... really dun believe him thou....

Secondly was on the Concert of Jacky Cheung (学友光年巡回演唱会）that me and my bf went last sunday...

We had dinner @ 日本村 located at the newly "renovated" (i think lah) Kallang Leisure Park Entertainment Center (actually i dun quite know what tat building is actually called heehee) they style was abit like buffet .... a new way for me to try out ...and the food there was no bad lahz... spent around 50 plus ...ate until quite full ....

The center was still quite new ... not alot of shops was opened yet ... but they've got an ice-skating ring (wow ... when was the last time i went to an ice-skating ring...*wondering*), a cinema (BUT its not operated by GV, Shaw, Eng-wah nor Cathay worr), ?box KTV ....that's about it on that day ... haha...

Oh ya the worse thing that they dun have was ATMsss .... NONE ... yesh u read correctly they have NO ATMs at the moment .... and there's a small cardbox with the words written in bold at the Information Counter ...... ATMS COMING SOON ..... haixx....

Anyway we two in the end din get any cash .... and just went straight to the Concert .... din know that they actually distribute FREE wan bao there wor .... FREE .... was it becos they printed too much thats why they giving out free??? strange....

We had quite good seats ... right side of the stages... and first row..(althou we were like at the third level) BUT we definately still can see Jacky Cheung ... the Concert din start until something like 8.30 pm .... and its FULL seatings....

First time heard a singer sang LIVE ..... and somemore is 歌神 - 张学友 wor .... was really amazed by him ... a 40 + yrs old guy ...can sing and dance ... and dun sound 喘 one wor .... quite enjoyed his singing that night ... a pity thing was i dun quite understand some of his cantonese dance songs ..... and the sounds and music was really loud that night ...got abit headache in the end... haha ... anyway we did not stay until the end of the performance .. but left the concert when he was singing dunno third or forth of his encore performance.... read from newspaper that he actually sang 12 songs for encore .... 厉害！

Reached home around 12.30 am .... tiring day ..but enjoyable .... look forward to yet another good performance from another good performer .... dunno whose concert i will go the next time round ...

WARNING LONG POST!!!

Okie...I'm finally updating on the things that I've done for the past few days... erm actually is from Xmas eve onwards lahx...(hahax Lazy Yve mahx)

24th Dec (Xmas Eve):

No work for me that day...but my bf was working so had to wait until he's off work and that i tot it might ends around 7 pm BUT he 8 pm den reach our dinner place...anyway was quite fed-up with him for being late lahx...but anyway forget it ... our dinner place was the Tao's restuarant and their Xmas set dinner was pretty good... so can try again some other day...after the dinner, we had to rush to Plaza Singapura for our movie - The Warlords...

The mushroom...quite nicey...

Main course - Small Lobster Pasta

Okie then was about the movie .... hmm it was "bloody", full of killings..limps being chopped off and flown into the air...dead bodies lying around...erm tats what i'm being reminded off.... oh and about the three main actors.... first is Andy Lau .... his character was someone hmm .... who will look after his own "bro" but in the end was "killed" by his so-called "own" bro - Jet Li's character ....

Takeshi was hmm playing someone who foolishly believe in whatever things or acts that his big bro - Jet Li did was right... blindly followed things that Jet Li said .... doesn't have a mind of his own ... whereas Jet Li's was pretty ambitious in erm a good way (probably) trying to help end the war but without experience on how to handle those court affairs with the other court officials.... and in the end was kena back-stabbed... poort thing... well in the end all three died lahx... abit sad that i had to see my idol - Andy Lau kena shot by so many arrows.... this movie was the second one that i've watched him "died" ... the first one was Mo Gong ... haix... think this movie is much more suitable for the guys... gals i doubt they'll enjoy watching limps flying here and there .. hahaha ...

After the movie, we initally decided to take some pix on the Xmas lighting..BUT only took a couple which was before the movie... unable to take any after that COS there was quite a lot of ppl playing the foam spray ... damn! some more spraying on strangers sometimes.... gosh really thing they should banned that damn spray .... and all thanks to that SPRAY .. we decided to go home early....

25th Dec (Xmas Day) - slacking @ home .. rotting .. muahahaha ...

26th to 28th Dec:

totally no mood to work..dunno why... issit becos it's nearing the end of the year? anyway i missed my Company's year end party on the 28th cos i was on leave ... (erm not feeling well actually ....)

The same nite i met up some of my old frenz... and quite long nver meet up .. (erm actually was first time meeting up since sec 1) and had dinner at Akashi Japanese @ Paragon... waited quite some time haha ... was chit chatting and the food there was not bad ..can go try ... will bring my bf there next time muahahaha....

hmm beside eating dinner and chit chatting there wasn't really anymuch liao ... updating each other on our own life ... oh ya ..gotta know that MY's getting married next year .. gosh so fast frenz are getting married le .... me old le .... haixx

Anyway it was just a simple dinner and chit chatting ...we went our separate ways thereafter...Ms Huang went to meet her starhub frenz.. me meeting my bf and MY and YY went off together....

oh ya ... this past week i've been thinking of getting a "reward" for myself... and have been looking at it for quite a no. of times ... going to the shop twice... surfing its online website...and has been thinking whether this reward was it really worth it ... seeking other ppl's opinion too ... and as u guys can see from my previous post... i was still undecisive until yesterday...

a decision has finally been made... hahax...let me show u my reward:- my new burberry purse!!! (^_^)v

Yeah.... my reward.... initially was thinking of getting a simplier design but Ms Huang say spend so much $$ for just a simple purse not so worth it ..so in the end got this one lor ... hmm a bit bigger but can put more cards lahx... thou the big "lock" thing looks big ... but still ok lah acceptable ... hee... well got a new purse for the new year .... :)

okie ending here now ... going to Zzzz liao ...gosh writing this post till 2 am in the morning ... manx i'm turning into a panda lorr...

恶作剧之吻 2

终于...终于....期待已久的恶作剧之吻2终于在台湾播出啦。呜呼！！！yeah.... (^_^)V

我也终于在网上看完第一集的“恶”，因为才刚播出所以相信应该还需要多等些日子，光碟才会被出售....真的好期待哦！！！

还记得我是先无意购买了“恶”的日剧，慢慢的爱上日的剧情然后就去寻找它的漫画...找好久才买齐所有23本，可惜的是画家兼作者的多田薰不幸敌不过病情而过世了也因此无法完成“恶”的结局。

还好台湾的某位制作人采用了“恶”的漫画剧情把漫画演变成了戏剧....真感谢！！

小宗和依丞的演出真的行棒，小宗真的似乎能展现“江植树”的酷酷性格，依丞也能展现“湘琴”那笨笨傻傻又对植树如此爱恋的性格。真棒！

真期待“恶吻2”的剧情发展...

Anyway the first movie i've watch was Alvin and the Chipmunks ....its something like a festive cum warming cum a little bite musical movie.... they got three cute little chipmunks who actually talks and sings.... and its really worth the $$ to go watch the movie .... I've been trying to get the soundtrack album BUT .... it was actually SOLD OUT in wat ... JE popular ... IMM popular and guess wat .... UOB Building's Gramaphone.... damn..... tat album is HOT.... anyway the chipmunks are cute ...really i swear ... those who like cute stuffs...wat it ... i like tat theodore ... haha... Its for the kids... and adult who are still a kids in the heart ... well those who loved the chipmunks when they're young should also catch it muahahaha .....

The second movie which i've just finished watching tonight was National Treasure 2: Books of Secret ... all i can say was its definately better than the first one ..and i can't wait for its vcd to come out gosh .... they actually flew to Paris.... London and US ..... 3 countries wor ... and the plot was still as good as the first one ... totally loved it ... and i think there might be a third series coming out ....hee who knows... Its for movie lovers who like abit of mystery ... history...and Nicholas Cage... hahaha

Personally i think National Treasure is definately a catch ... but well actually all shows i've recommended are usually a catch muahahaha ... so ... its really up to you guys to decided...

Back from Chalet

Yesh ..anyone missed me ... guess not muahahahah .... okie back for updates about my chalet ... yesh ... one word sums it all and its ..... TIRING .... lack of beauty sleep haha ...

Friday - slpt till 10 am .... (gosh i'm gonna miss this life-style) wait for bf to bring breakfast muahahah .... den packing of stuffs.... got a msg from Jas that she was able to meet BR for the food ... and so our plan which had been decided initially was back in place.... me and bf left home and took the mrt down to Pasir Ris ... a long trip thou it seems quite fast .... and the train seems quite alot of ppl ... somewhat like a Saturday afternoon ...hmm ... but anyway ..reach the chalet around 3 pm ...and not long after that Jas and BR also arrived with some of the stuffs for the BBQ .... but its was not enough so we waited at one of the small eathouse, grab a bite while waiting for Jas's hub - garrick to arrive....

Den was shopping at Cheers ..... but we felt that the food wasn't enough so me and Jas went to the NTUC and met up Michelle (BR's gf) and brought some food from NTUC before getting back ...

Started BBQ-ing, luckily the rain was blown away by the clouds... yeahh.... BG and gf joined us later .... Nite activity for the first day was mahjong, mahjong and mahjong .. oh ya we did brought a bday cake for BR to pre-celebrate his bday with him tat nite too ...

Symptoms:

Fatigue
Weakness
Low grade fever
Often starts by attacking smaller joints and then bigger ones

Haix.... bad weekend

Haix ... the start of a bad weekend for me is a joint inflammation .... damnx...

Friday - middle of the night .... pain struck me in the left leg ... slightly beside the knee cap ... cannot bend my knees... and even putting it straight cause pain .... but i was too tired ... bearing with the pain ... i still fall aslp .... early morning ..told mum about it and she really stupid told her will pain liao and she still rub on my wound .... cos there's no sighting of blue black nor was there any swollen visibility .... she jus press HARD on the spot where i told her was painful..... damn... it hurts alot...

so this morning went to the doc ... conclusion joint inflammation .... reason for causing it ..the doc brought it across partially ... something like wrong slping pose or wat ... anyway i also not sure how i actually got inflammation .... in the joint somemore ... dotx right ...

and somemore this weekend my bf not around ...went m'sia for his wat company's sport game ... dotx...wont be back until monday ... haix.... like abit ming ku ...

Exam finally over ...

Yeah ... hurray ...exams' over ... hmmm abit sad cos that means monday i'll be going back to work hahahaha ... abit lazy ..... quite enjoy the lazy life for the past two weeks ... how times flies.......

Anyway finally the exams' over BUT think i gotta resit for CFM ...yesh AGAIN ... super duper sianz... i totally dun understand what the questions were asking about ... gosh am i that stupid ... *starting to wonder* i really got study wor ... i really know how to calculate NPV, Risk Returns and stuffs wor ... haish ...

Anyway since its over ... what's done cannot be undone.... so ...resit for it again lor~~~

oh ya ... i also took a walk to Ngee Ann City this afternoon, after my exam ... and took this nicey pix of their tall Xmas Tree... gosh making me all festive and stuffs... and i got a new toy today.... tada --- a new ipod touch .... FOC wor ... those whoever broadband contract is due for recontracting with Singnet can go get it ... they having promo now wor ..giving out free Ipod touch ...(thou i was still suspicion on whether the thing will like be spoilt in a weeks or so time...but *choi* touchwood ... )

Okie ... going to watch my anime liao ... Bleach ..recently been catching it on SCV and my wonderful cousin - HM got me the link to the whole episode ONLINE .. yeah and its FOC again ... muahahaha .... he even got me the link for Manga gosh .... all thanks to him ...TQ ohh!!!

Hi hi ... here for a quick update.... been busy with studies the past one week ..and due to the "burning" of midnight oil for the first two days.... (studied until 3 am gosh.... dunno is to be proud of myself or blame on my stupidity -_-''' ) anyway back to the topic .... conclusion was sinus back and worse still the eye kena sore AGAIN !!!!

damn sianz .... so i totally wasted my wednesday and thursday morning ... had to go back to the chinese physician for medication .... damn damn damn ... anyway planning wise like abit lag for CFM .... for CS my notes i've finished studying so tml and tue will be revision and will try my best to MEMORISE those @#$%% sections from the Companies Act and Listing Manual .... hope my tiny winy brain dun fail on me... *pray*

As for CFM .... gosh i can say i really know how to calculate NPV, expected returns etc etc (currently only up till chapts 16 lahx) hope that the person who set the exam questions won't set some #$%@#$ questions that's NOT in the syllabus ...*pray more harder*

Okie ... i'm done ... going to catch some beauty sleep... i'm becoming a panda lo~~~

Counting down - 3 more days to CS exam, 5 more days to CFM exam and 7 more days to the hectic working life of an adult ....

I'm back for updates... yeah.... (but frankly i about to forget those things that had happened for the past weeks...muahaha...the same old yve i guess...)

Anyway start from last wednesday ..... after work ..me and my bf went to Vivo city ... to catch a movie - Lust, Caution (R21)

Reached there ard 7 plus going to 8 pm ...initially wanted to eat Carl's Jr ... but no place .... den change to Mache - long queue .... den watch ard vivo and we still din manage to decide ...so in the end of cos was me being too hungry started to nag at my bf ... so in the end we went to Eagle Swensen ...(was it Eagle or some other word....hmmm) ordered seafood pasta for two ... had a one for one sundae .... overall i dun feel full at all .... den we spend ard half and hr in the big bookshop ...(paiseh i for its name...) while waiting for the time to pass.... our movie time was 10.10 pm .... quite late....

But anyway when we finished the movie it was already 1 am .... and of cos me being a troublesome gf ... starts to nag again ...(see my bf very poor thing horr) anyway reach home straight away fall aslp on my comfy bed...

Hmm abt the movie lehz.... (and its my first R21 movie worr) all i can say it was i NVER expected the director to ACTUALLY do it THAT way .... so i finally get it why the entertainment news previously reported the Tony Leung's gf actually was "angry" over the intimated scenes (to me using that word - intimate is still not that appropriate or not close enuff to wat it was actually filmed cos it not only intimated ...its was more sexual really ...) those who had seen that movie really will agreed with me .... overall i did manage to get what the shows / plot was about lahz... (thou my bf got lost half way thru haha)

Anyway ... its was still a shocking movie ... erm about tough on whether its recommendable to watch or not .... so its really up to you guys to decide liao lor .... see if its the plot u're interested or the way Lee Ang filmed the movie..... Tony leung or watever reason that u can give urself to go ahead and watch it ... anyway ... it does broaden my mind after watching this show lahz...

ok finished with the movie....den it was saturday ... Rajah & Tann's family day .... quite a big event happening in Sentosa... was abit reluctant to go cos it was raining on saturday morning and i just felt lazy ... but anyway me and my bf still went lahz...

Alot of games for the whole family.... got watch soccer .... beach volley.... our corp sec dept participated in the watch soccer ... and i video-ed some of it down ... quite fun watching and the gals really did their best ... thou we did not win but ... really happy to see them having so much fun .. haha ... anyway we had a nice and quite tiring saturday ... on ya ... in the end i still dun have the luck to win any prizes home...

Sunday - today - rotting at home ...trying to study ... really no motivation ..gosh and exam is coming in just two weeks time .... i'm pretty much a dead meat liao .... sianz.... just have to buck up these two weeks liao ....
